The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, following the DP's concern about the increase in envelopes that will be sent to voters abroad, clarified in a statement to the media that there is no possibility that a voter will receive two envelopes. According to Celibashi, there are triple checks by both DHL and the CEC.

"There is no way a voter could receive two envelopes. There is a triple check by the operator and the CEC."  

The concern presented by the DP is unfounded. There is nothing to worry about, they have clarified and understood how the system works. Everything is going very well. They received the notification through the monitors they have at the CEC. This process is monitored 24/7 by representatives of political parties, "said Celibashi.

On the other hand, he stated that the process of sending ballots abroad will not be able to be completed on April 17 as anticipated due to increased controls.

"We will not be able to complete the process of sending ballots on April 17 due to the increased workload in controlling the process of sending envelopes. The increase in controls has postponed the deadline for sending ballots," the head of the CEC stated./ CNA
