The spokeswoman of the opposition campaign, Silvi Bardhi, has denounced the buying of votes by the director of the Fire Department in Tirana, Shkëlqim Goxhaj.

Bardhi, through a status on social networks, has made it known that Goxhaj has made work warehouses available for vote capture, turning them into centers for the distribution of electoral aid.

Among other things, she has warned that any director who abuses his position will be held accountable.

"The Director of Firefighters in the Municipality, Shkëlqim Goxhaj, who is also a soldier, because of his duty, should not become a soldier of a Veliaj war, with blackmail and other means to buy votes.

It is a serious legal violation to make work warehouses available for vote capture, turning them into centers for the distribution of electoral aid.

Belind Kelliçi is informed every day about these violations by the employees of the Municipality, who are revolted by the pressure and threat exerted against them.

Veliaj's personal interest and power is no reason for anyone to break the law.

Any director who abuses his office will be held accountable.
