The EU delegation in Tirana has reacted in relation to Lulzim Basha's statement that the internationals have intervened in the Electoral Reform issues.

For the media, the EU delegation in Tirana emphasizes that they are not involved in any mediation and have emphasized the need to follow the recommendations of the OSCE/ODIHR. 

"In response to the reports circulating in the media, we would like to clarify that while the EU is not involved in any mediation, our position remains the same: we continue to emphasize the need to follow the recommendations of the OSCE/ODIHR. As we have said even before, including the 2023 Report for Albania, the electoral reform requires constructive and comprehensive political dialogue of all parties", said the EU delegation. 

This reaction calls Lul Basha's bluff, who the day before, after the Assembly session, said that with the help of the delegation, he convinced the SP to reach an agreement with Enkelejd Alibejan (co-chairman of the Electoral Reform) on the Electoral Reform. /CNA
