Calling intellectuals, business and farmers/ Stand up today more than ever

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha made a strong call from the balcony of his house, during the speech he gave to the protesters.

Berisha addressed the citizens, intellectuals, business and farmers, whom he asked to stand up in protests.

He declared that they must go to battle without return, as he described it as decisive for the salvation of Albania from the power of Edi Rama.

Excerpt from the statement:

I make a friendly appeal to all Albanian intellectuals: stand up today more than ever. For the intellectual whose compass is truth, this is the hour of truth.

This is the hour of supreme truth, in which the battle is for the salvation of those truths which are dearest to every man, to the salvation of those truths which are dearest to every society, to every nation, to every country .

And these truths are the truths of freedom, of human dignity, the truths of the rule of law, the truths of a democratic order, of political pluralism.

Intellectuals and intellectuals, today wherever you are, in Albania and far from it, your country is called, your nation is called as warriors of truth, to go out into battle without return, because this battle is decisive for the salvation of Albania, for the salvation of the nation the Albanian, who is in fact today in the most difficult day from the wildest, most exterminating invader he has known in history, Edi Rama and his narco-state.

I have a call for all businesses in the country. You who live every day in terror of patronage taxi drivers, their fines and bribes, stand up to put an end to this endless horror for you and go on the path of law, justice and equality.

There is no peace over crime, there is no peace over lawlessness. You must transform your shutters into powerful tools, into weapons against the common enemy, Edi Rama.

In your name, I make a fraternal appeal to all the farmers of Albania, you who are the most discriminated farmers in Europe, you are the most despised citizens of this country, you are the most punished families of Albania, stand up and overthrow this regime, the enemy of wild of your being.

To overthrow this regime that is exterminating, destroying hundreds and thousands of farms every day. It is turning your countryside, your farms into a desert, into a real void.

Stand up, because in this way you protect not only your farms, but protect Albania, which for centuries and centuries you have carried on your shoulders together with other citizens with the great belief that you will take it to Europe and not leave it in the clutches of a the enemy of Albanians' existence.

I call again to all Albanians, to stand up against this regime whose main objective, whose main activity, whose main purpose is your theft, the theft of Albanians./ CNA
