Bardhi: Begaj, Minister of Propaganda, assassinated the Constitution

The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has criticized President Bajram Begaj.

Bardhi said that Begaj has been aware of the situation in the Assembly for 3 months and is behaving as a unilateral subordinate of the majority.

"It has been announced that the Assembly has not been functioning normally for three months, due to the denial of the rights of the opposition. "The president gave up as a unilateral subordinate of the majority, he made low provocations against the opposition," he said.

According to him, the President's attendance at today's session is a serious act and an attempt on the constitution of the Republic of Albania.

The deputy mocked Begaj, describing him as the minister of propaganda.

"Today the president behaved like a blind man who does not know or has not heard that there is a situation or a conflict between the majority and the opposition in the Assembly. Until now, we had seen Edi Rama act like a blind man, he says there is no situation in the Parliament of Albania and I expressed my regret, I had no attack. When they make the decision to treat him as Minister of Propaganda, we will treat him as Minister of Propaganda. Today I expressed my regret that the Head of State, the representative of the unity of the people, was brought to court by the majority to provoke the opposition and this is a serious act, it is an assassination that the president has made against the Constitution of the Republic of Albania and his role as guarantor of the Constitution and over the political parties", emphasized Bardhi./ CNA
