The 2025 budget/ Minister Dhuka: An important document at a historical moment

The Minister of State and Chief Negotiator on the progress of the negotiation process, Majlinda Dhuka, spoke at the European Affairs Committee for the 2025 budget.

According to the minister, this budget is an important document that comes at a time when the first group chapters with the EU have been opened for Albania.

Dhuka said that the 2025 budget shapes a large part of EC investments and recommendations.

The minister stated that the budget foresees support for deepening the main reforms, justice reform, digitalization, reform in public services, support for employment and good governance reforms and the strengthening of Albanian institutions, supports European networks, Albania's connection with European corridors as well as regarding road infrastructure, regarding railway, air and sea infrastructure. It supports the approach of the energy market to the European market so that the country can be an exporter of electricity to the EU countries within this decade.

"This budget is an important document at a historical moment for Albania.

Albania and the EU through the EC have approved an important European agenda to prepare the country to be a member of the European family.

It forms a large part of EC investments and recommendations.  

This budget foresees support for the deepening of the main reforms, the reform in justice, digitalization, the reform in public services, support in the reforms in employment and in good governance and the strengthening of Albanian institutions.

This budget supports European networks, Albania's connection with European corridors in terms of road infrastructure, railway, air and sea infrastructure. It supports the approach of the energy market to the European market so that the country can be an exporter of electricity to EU countries within this decade," said the minister./ CNA
