The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke about the "non-grata" sanction imposed on him by the US.

Berisha said in a TV appearance that after the US sanction was imposed, former ambassador Yuri Kim gathered all the ambassadors of major countries accredited in Tirana in a meeting.

According to him, Yuri Kim asked the diplomats for solidarity, but the German ambassador refused.

"When the news about my announcement 'non-grata' was announced, Ambassador Kim requested a meeting with the ambassadors of major countries accredited in Tirana and asked for solidarity. The German ambassador said: no, madam, we do not support this decision, you did not ask us. You have no facts about Sali Berisha.
