"The battle will continue"/ Boçi: Internationals should monitor

The head of the Department of Education in the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, has stated that the opposition achieved its goals with the October 7 protest.

During a television interview, Boçi declared that the battle and the confrontation with the majority will continue, while he called on the international community to observe the way the SP is governing.

"Starting from what we discussed today at the meeting of district leaders, in conclusion, the protest, as a form of civil disobedience, achieved its goals. The participation of the citizens was great and the way the protest was interpreted was a kind of innovation that was greeted and embraced by all the citizens who followed us during our march.

Some of them even carried out acts according to the degree of their anger and revolt. Meanwhile, our messages about the focus on the main institutions and the way citizens were organized were very clear for the prime minister and for the necessity of a deep reflection of this government.

The mechanisms used by the majority are mechanisms ranging from elaborate propaganda to the use of banality, as was the case of the fabrication of a street birth due to the blocking of the streets by citizens, which was clarified later.

It is a kind of battle that continues and will continue in the coming days, but I think we should remain indifferent to these interpretations and continue our right path, the path of confrontation, increasing the intensity of our protests.

The part of communication, which was emphasized today by the chairman of the Democratic Party, is indispensable. It will start a round of communications with all internationals to clarify the situation in Albania, the fusion of crime with governance, the methods and tools that Rama uses in the election campaigns, also proven in the OSCE-ODIHR reports. The goal is for the internationals to have a clear picture of the situation and to react, no longer remaining silent, and not making statements only when the opposition undertakes political actions inside and outside the parliament. They should observe objectively what the government has done, which has forced the opposition to use these forms of political action", said Boçi./ CNA
