A day after the protest, the chairman of PL, Ilir Meta, said that its mission was fulfilled.

In a press conference, Ilir Meta expressed his support for every action initiated by the Democratic Party.

He declared that PL will be present in every protest.

"The protest of the opposition is completely legitimate. Confronting the regime is the only path left to establish constitutional order. The narco-state should not have even 1 minute of peace. The narco-police acted under orders, poisoning the people with gas. The use of gas and violence showed that the State Police has lost its mission.
