Today the opposition started the opposition action by holding a national protest.

The protest started after Ervin Salianji was sentenced to one year in prison for a false report.

After his imprisonment, the opposition made the decision to no longer continue normal parliamentary life and to start protests.

Today, hundreds of thousands of protesters filled the streets of the capital.

The main institutions of the country were set on fire. There was a clash between the police and the protesters where several people were injured.

The protest lasted three hours and the opposition warned that it will not stop with protests and civil disobedience.
