President Begaj in Montenegro/Meeting with political representatives

The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, in Tivat, Montenegro, meets with representatives of the entire political spectrum and calls on them, regardless of party colors, to be united for the protection of the Albanian interest.

The Head of State used the visit to Montenegro, where he is for the Brdo-Brijuni Process Summit, to discuss with the Albanian representatives there their problems and the Albanian factor as a whole.

"On major national issues, we as Albanians must be together despite the political and party ideologies that make us compete with each other, competition which is good to be healthy. We must be together on issues related to the Euro-Atlantic orientation of Albanians. This is a dream and aspiration of Albanians, which is not negotiable. If we see an attitude that contradicts the interests of Albanians, that contradicts the dreams of Albanians, our European journey, our being in NATO, these things are definitely not tolerated, they are a dividing red line. We cannot oppose individual opinions. We oppose the actions. We will never agree with actions that conflict with Kosovo, conflict with its recognition, conflict with Kosovo's vote in international institutions" - emphasized President Begaj./ CNA
