36 years ago, on August 10, 1988, with the signature of the executioners of the Hoxist dictatorship, Ramiz Alia and Kristaq Rama, the biological father of Edi Rama was executed by hanging in the main square of the city of Kukës to make the poet immortal forever. prominent dissident Havzi Nela.
