Albin Kurti: The Gjakovë-Shkodër segment will unite 2 emblematic

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, visited the city of Shkodra where he met with the composer Zef Çoba.

During the meeting, he stopped at the Pristina-Durres railway, at the heart of which would be the Gjakovë-Shkodër segment.

Kurti stated that this segment will unite two emblematic cities.

"Shkodra is a city that encourages and inspires the artist. Language and culture, old traditions and natural resources are ingredients that shape artistic works and inspire through music.

The great master Zef Çoba, not only contributed to the mosaic of Shkodra's beloved songs, but also composed symphonies and contemporary national anthems. Such are "Xhamadani Vija-Vija" as well as the song "Atdheut", which comes as a fraternal greeting from Shkodra to Kosovo in 2009, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the declaration of Kosovo's independence, and which also recites verses by Gjergj Fishta : "God in heaven and us on earth, with everyone's brother and friend."
