"The EU has set up transparency groups"/ Zhupa: Internationals must

Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa, invited to the show "Kafe Shqeto" with journalist Flavio Qarri, analyzed yesterday's denunciation by the Journalists' Association that the majority is preparing to restrict journalists from attending plenary sessions in the Assembly and their presence in the parliament courtyard.

Zhupa said that internationals must also react. The Democratic MP reiterated once again that the opposition will stand by journalists because restricting them narrows the space for information for citizens.

"The international factor must also react because it is one of the standards required for integration. Informal groups funded by the EU have been established to promote dialogue between the government and the media and to increase the transparency of the legislative body."

"We in the opposition have a duty to denounce this government, we will use group meetings and social networks. The space for both the media and citizens has been narrowed, we will use every space, we will denounce every attack on journalists, we will stand at all costs and in any form," said Zhupa./ CNA
