The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has reacted after the meeting of the Socialist Party National Assembly, where he was appointed Political Leader of the SP for the Tirana Region and continued his duties as Political Leader of the SP for the Diaspora.

Through a post on social media, Balla writes that the Socialist Party in the May 11 elections received two out of three votes from Albanians outside the territory, out of a quarter of a million registered.

As the Political Leader of the Tirana District, Balla declares that in the 2027 local elections, we aim to win all the municipalities of the district, without any exception.

"Two words about the two tasks entrusted to me today by the National Assembly of Edi Rama, Socialist Party of Albania.

The first-ever diaspora vote on May 11 was historic. The Socialist Party received two out of three votes from Albanians abroad, out of a quarter of a million registered. The target for 2029 will be three times higher.

"In Tirana, in the 2027 local elections, we aim to win all the municipalities of the region, without any exception," Balla emphasizes./ CNA
