"We are not in the last mile"/ Bushati: The government is not

Analyst Andi Bushati said today that the idea put forward by the opposition of being in the 'last mile' of the socialist majority is still far from being realized.

Invited to 'Syri Tv', Bushati said that he still does not see a power crisis, as he explained three alternatives that could bring political rotation to the country.

"I still stand by the idea that I don't see any flaws in this government, and when I say I don't see any flaws in this government, I'm not putting the issue on a moral level. So, should we end this government once and for all, the sooner they leave power, the better? Yes, but having said that, I don't see that the departure of this government or this group, or this gang, is close to leaving. So, we are not, we are not even in the last mile, and this government's days are not numbered.

Or it is resolved through elections, the first of which are very far away here and the second, even when they take place here, they are manipulated.

Or they are elected by street movements, which is almost impossible under a regime. It might happen once every 50 years, but it is almost impossible for such a gang to fall. We saw what happened in Serbia with protests that were much, much longer and more powerful than here, and that failed to shake Vu?i?'s power.

"Or the third, when the parties split from within, when a part does not accept this authoritarianism of one person or the decision-making of a certain handful of people. But none of these three factors seem to be present, at least in the current situation," Bushati said./CNA
