The deputy of the Democratic Party, Luan Baçi, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that he supports the work of SPAK, but always if the latter does not exceed the rules and laws, referring here to the case of Sali Berisha.

He emphasized that he went to testify when he was called by a BKH officer, precisely showing his support without reservations, even as he said, even without knowing what he was called for.

"I give full and unreserved support to SPAK to investigate any deputy, parliamentarian, minister, former minister, prime minister and former prime minister. This is indisputable, but by implementing the law, the procedures and not going above the law and saying that I do what I want and not what the law provides. Here we part together.

And the other one, I have shown by my actions that with a phone call made by one of the officers of the BKH, without knowing why he was calling me, I answered yes with complete satisfaction and I am even coming to you at this moment when you received the phone . I didn't notify anyone, I didn't even tell a lawyer, but I showed up there, they informed me about a complaint by a patronage agent. I made my statement, they didn't even give me an answer about how the investigation would be developed and I found out about the closure of the investigation through the media," said Baçi./ Euronews Albania
