Agron Shehaj convinced: The "Mundësia" Party will receive a

The chairman of the "Mundësia" Party, Agron Shehaj, held an electoral meeting in Korça, where he presented the political program and candidates of this political force for the region.

In an interview with the media, he stated that the party's main objective is to bring a new alternative to citizens, focusing on real change and not simply on a political rotation between traditional forces.

"This is a long-term political project, which aims to provide an alternative that will bring change and not simply political rotation in Albania. We aim, according to surveys by foreign companies, to give us an average of 10% of the votes at the national level. This can be translated into a mandate in the districts where there are more than 10 deputies and in Tirana there are certainly more mandates there. We will fight everywhere to present our alternative to the Albanian citizens, our candidates such as Ilirjani here who is a simple citizen who has decided to succeed with honest work and not with bargaining or by exploiting political connections."

Referring to polls by foreign companies, Shehaj stated that the Opportunity Party is projected to receive an average of 10% of the votes nationally, which would translate into several mandates in districts with more than 10 MPs, including Tirana.

Regarding guaranteeing the integrity of the vote, Shehaj emphasized that the party membership is committed to protecting the citizens' vote and ensuring a fair and transparent process.

"Since you are asking me who will protect the vote, here we have a part of the Mundesia Party membership that I can guarantee will protect the vote of Albanian citizens."

Shehaj also spoke about the withdrawal of several Korça candidates from the race, considering this a common challenge for a new party. He noted that the supporters of the Opportunity Party are aware of the sacrifices that must be made in a long-term political project and that the withdrawal of a few individuals does not affect the strength of the movement.

"The candidates of the Opportunity Party who claim that they will win to become MPs, according to the polls always, because I can say that we can win 140 mandates or even 71, to be realistic, the candidates of the Opportunity Party who are 10-15, we can say 20. The rest, all the other candidates are very important, I thank them very much, but they are supporters of candidates who have a chance of being elected. Being a supporter of a new party, which has a long-term project, where you are aware that you will simply give and sacrifice, is very difficult. Yes, some of them have decided not to be part of the list, but we have tens, thousands of supporters and it is more than normal that out of 180 of those who are supporters, someone can change their mind, it is not surprising."

Convinced of his success in the Korça Region, Shehaj introduced Ilirian Agolli as the next deputy of the Mundësia Party. According to him, Agolli represents the new model of politicians who should dominate the Albanian scene.

"Absolutely yes! Let me introduce you to the next deputy of the Mundësia Party. Ilirian Agolli is the next deputy of the Mundësia Party of the Korça District. There is no better guy who can better represent the citizens of Korça in the next parliament. He is the example we should set in Albania."

The Opportunity Party's campaign continues with intensity, while it remains to be seen whether the claimed support will translate into votes in the May 11 elections./ CNA
