On the day of the Consecration of Mother Teresa, the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, says that she is the symbol of the Albanian mother and will always be an inspiration to do small things with great love.

"On this day of celebration for the Albanian nation, the Catholic world and humanity, the Sanctification of Mother Teresa, we respectfully honor her bright and unforgettable work, the extraordinary example of humanity and love in action. Saint Mother Teresa, the symbol of the Albanian mother  , will always be an inspiration "to do small things with great love", says Meta in a post on social networks. 

Today marks 7 years since Mother Teresa's canonization.

Her canonization took place on September 4, 2016, one day before the 19th anniversary of her death on September 5, which is also known as her feast day, Mother Teresa's Day of Consecration.

Meanwhile, September 5, 1997 marks the death of the missionary and humanist, mother of the poor all over the world, Saint Teresa. Mother Teresa was an Indian Catholic nun and missionary. He was born in Skopje, in an Albanian family, at that time the center of the Kosovo Province in the Ottoman Empire. She lived in her homeland for eighteen years and then she moved to Ireland and then to India, where she lived most of her life.

On October 19, 2003, she was beatified and named "Blessed Teresa of Calcutta". Mother Teresa has been honored with the highest awards and honors, including: the 1962 Ramon Magsaysay Peace Prize and the 1979 Nobel Peace Prize.
