This Monday, Behar Bajri, part of the Bajraj group, was arrested in France.

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, in a reaction on social networks, considered the operation to arrest Bajri as "very important".

Balla said that this significant operation is a clear reflection of the will of our agencies to fight crime.

"The State Police has finalized an important operation outside Albania in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies. This significant operation is a clear reflection of the will of our agencies to attack crime and that no one will be able to avoid justice.

I congratulate the officers involved in this operation, for their high professionalism and, above all, for the complete security of sensitive information until the finalization of the operation.

I want to reiterate my full confidence that the strengthening of cooperation between our law-enforcement agencies, with the structures of partner countries, as well as the joint fight, will take Albania to another level of the rule of law," the minister wrote on social networks./ CNA
