Prime Minister Edi Rama addressed Kosovo and Serbia with a message, as it has been a year since the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia in Ohrid.

Through a status on social networks, Rama says that the implementation of the agreement by both parties serves security, stability and peace in the Western Balkans.

According to him, it is not enough simply for the agreement to be legally binding, as progress is ensured by the inclusion of the implementation annex in the integration processes.

"As we approach the meeting of the Council of Europe on March 21, it is essential to remember that the implementation of the Agreement on the Path to Normalization of Relations between Kosovo and Serbia, together with its Implementing Annex, is of great importance for maintaining security , stability and peace in the Western Balkans. It is not enough simply that the Agreement is legally binding. To ensure progress, the Agreement and the Implementing Annex should be formally incorporated as part of the respective EU membership processes of Kosovo and Serbia. Any delay in doing so only strengthens the status quo. And the status quo regarding this strategic key for a peaceful, prosperous and European neighborhood in the middle of Europe does not serve the security of Europe itself", writes the head of the government./ CNA
