Should immigrants vote, do they know Albania?/ What do the citizens think?

Asked about the vote of immigrants and to better understand the opinion of citizens and their beliefs about how immigrants can vote, citizens were given another group of expressions to express agreement or disagreement.

The obtained data shows that 34.3% of them agree with the expression that immigrants know Albania from afar and do not know it closely, 47.4% do not agree with this expression.

Similarly, 57.2% agree that the vote of the diaspora will always be suspected of manipulation, considering the problems of the elections in Albania, while 18.8% do not agree with this.

The majority of citizens, 44.6%, think that immigrants maintain the political beliefs they had before they left.

Fewer Albanians, 36.2%, find it unfair that those who do not live in Albania decide the fate of those who live in Albania, while the majority, 45.5%, do not think this is unfair.

39.5% agree that immigrants must pay taxes to vote and 46.4% (the majority) do not agree that in order to vote immigrants must fulfill this obligation./ Euronews.al
