The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has brought charges against SPAK and the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj.

Berisha said that although the sterilization documents bear Beqaj's signature, the latter is being amnestied by justice.

According to him, Beqaj will go to trial not on charges of corruption, but simply for abuse of office.

"Now friends, you have followed the trial. There is no worse crime. Sterilizers are the second theft of the century. Because with this procedure, Ilir Beqaj, by order of Edi Rama, increased the price of sterilization by 83 times.

Because with this procedure, Ilir Beqaj gave Edi Rama's company and himself, the purchased equipment for free and the floor of the hospital, free electricity, free water. And the worst, the blackest, every month 1 thousand Albanians were excluded from operations, because the hospitals could not buy the surgical kits.
