I am European!

I am European.

I love historical and cultural Europe very much. We all live and contribute to the economy of Europe. In Europe we eat and heal. In Europe we educate our descendants. In Europe we move freely without visas and without bureaucracy. We have massively European cars. We swim in Europe's seas and ski in its mountains.

I am with the European tradition, because it suits me best.

In this view, I don't like the simplistic antics of Americans at all. Even though they are the strongest in the world, their lives still don't appeal to me. They are very far from us and have little or no connection with us. At least not to me.

I have my belonging in Europe. In fact, all of us there have our belonging, mentality, and culture.

But politically, I am for the Europe of Viktor Orban, who is beyond reproach. I am perhaps also with the Europe of Meloni, Le Pen, Fico and others like them, who argue for a rational and traditional Europe. For an economic and political power of the world, based on the economy of each European country.

The Europe of Brussels bureaucrats is boring; unjust; sluggish; colorless; anemic; incompetent. It is arrogant with the weak and corruptible with the strong.

The point is, when bureaucratic Europe tells us to fight corruption, while it is itself immersed in corruption, it's completely slanderous! My brain is telling me otherwise, to be honest.

This does not mean that we should not fight corruption, but not as a directive of corrupt bureaucrats. We will have to fight corruption in the same way that every EU country fights it with the same legal, social, economic and cultural standards.

Of course, I am no one to judge all of Europe, but this is my opinion. That is why even when I sometimes criticize EU officials in Tirana, I start from exactly these considerations.
