To run a city and change it, you have to love it.

The wise teach us: Love your city and dream of making it better, and turn this dream into a plan, program and action. The mayors who left a strong mark both in the political field and in the city they governed, had this dream, had a vision for their city and to a large extent realized it.

A typical example for Vlora is Ali Asllani, the prominent Vlonjat statesman and poet.

I believe that Hysni Sharra will follow in his footsteps.

Just as he dreams of a beautiful, green, sustainable city, he can make it happen by relying on people, who will overcome age-old prejudices, seeing the city change for the better. To inspire citizens and get them out of their party identity, when this identity prevents change, development.

The future mayor of Vlora, Mr. Hysni Sharra is facing a city tired of transition in these elections. In a city tired of renaissance-socialist narratives, which never respected Vlora, the city and its history, and which think that, continuing in a slightly more refined way the practice of the post-dictatorship state, they could inspire forward with jokes and slogans - behind, as in certain backward areas of Central Albania.

Vlonjats, fed up with the "kitsch", "trash" of an ahistorical nationalism or an absolutely harmful internationalism, tired of the lack of vision, were eager for more culture, quality of life, narratives and alternative perspectives for the city .

Vlora cannot continue to be governed by emissaries of Tirana, it cannot continue to be governed by those who are appointed by Tirana or obedient servants of the Global Leader, it cannot continue to be governed by those who love the party more than Albania , from those who love enrichment more than serving the citizens.

We are in the middle of an extraordinary crisis, in total economic, social and moral poverty. The agony of poverty is sitting cross-legged.

Mr. Hysni Sharra had the courage to speak his mind, trying to project the future. Economist Hysni Sharra dreams and has designed another city. Not phobic, closed, miserable and regressive, as pushed and limited by all the previous mayors, or the hierarchs of the Renaissance that is compromised, badly degenerated and already hinders development. Hysniu dreams and has designed an open, democratic, tolerant city. A city that plays an important role in Albania, why not in the region as well!

Në programin e tij kryetari i ardhshëm i bashkisë, Hysni Sharra ëndërron e projekton për të zbatuar një qytet krejt tjetër, i cili nuk do t’u nënshtrohet tekave të “Liderit Global”, që e urren Vlorën, që e ndryshon, retushon apo shpërfytyron Historinë e traditën sipas tekave dhe oreksit të mëngjesit anti Vlorë, një qytet pa identitet, një qytet ku Sheshi i Flamurit është zhdukur, deti dhe Skela nuk duken më dhe sheshi përpara bashkisë është betonizuar, infrastruktura është e shkatërruar.

Qytetari fisnik i Vlorës, Hysni Sharra dhe ne ëndërrojmë një “Qytet njerëzor, të pastër, miqësor për qytetarët” në çdo kuptim të fjalës.

Një qytet që respekton traditën e historinë; një qytet të bukur, të pastër, me ujë të pijshëm, mungesën e të cilit edhe pa 32 vitesh demokraci dhe 26 vite drejtimi socialist të bashkisë Vlora vazhdon ta vuajë; një qytet pa ndotje, lider të turizmit. Një qytet për të gjithë qytetarët e në duar të qytetarëve, ku ai vetë, kryebashkiaku do të jetë njëherazi edhe Qytetari i parë edhe shërbestari i përkushtuar i qytetit...

Qyteti, që ne ëndërrojmë kishte shumë propozime dhe ide, një program për qytetin, i cili plotësoi dhe pasuroi planin e ekonomistit Hysni Sharra.

Z. Hysni Sharra gjithmonë ka qenë i gatshëm të dëgjojë dhe zbatojë shumë propozime nga qytetarët dhe ekspertët.

Dhe në programin e tij gjithëpërfshirës, të mirëmenduar e të mirëprezantuar z. Hysni Sharra angazhohet që Vlorën ta shikojë ndryshe e gjatë mandatit të tij ta transformojë.

Z. Sharra sot po kandidon në njëperiudhë shumë të vështirë. Me kundërshtarë jo vetëm një sistem të kalbur politik, grabitës e kundër vlonjatëve, por edhe një shoqëri të rraskapitur nga varfëria dhe pasojat afatgjata të krizës ekonomike, një shoqëri që sheh, por ndonjëherë duke mos vlerësuar si duhet as shkaqet dhe as vështirësitë e rimëkëmbjes ekonomike, një shoqëri që po mbyllet dalngadalë në vetvete, një shoqëri të lodhur, që po përzgjedh ikjen dhe largimin, sepse shpresa mungon dhe perspektiva është e zymtë; një shoqëri, që zgjedh shpesh herë “sigurinë e pagës”, “bukën e momentit” apo “premtimin e radhës”edhe në kurriz të demokracisë, një shoqëri, që edhe kur guxon e trysnojnë ose ia tjetërsojnë votën.
