When it rains and when there is a visit from a foreign citizen, Tirana turns into a parking lot. Nothing moves. Even the most ambitious ant gets stuck. The symphony of honking horns, annoyed drivers and howling traffic cops give the city the appearance of a pavilion. 

Absolutely, security when you have high-level visits takes priority, but not by blocking an entire city. The simplest solution is seen in blocking the roads. Schools are closed. Banks are closed, businesses are closed. 

Imagine Paris or Rome being paralyzed because the prime minister of Albania is visiting. Eiffel Tower? Closed for security reasons. Colosseum - see you next time we have a state visit in Rome.

With our style, Brussels, where there are EU and NATO summits every day, would go into total collapse. With so many high-level visits, Israel would not have problems with Hamas rockets, but with traffic in Tel Aviv...

Is there a solution?

What if it were invested where it is being invested day and night in the airport and we turned the airport into a great place of events? There it waits and conveys and does not block an entire city.

A large hall, a cinema showing Albania's achievements, red carpets from the plane to the waiting room, fireworks and dancers, a real spectacle.

Albania thus turns into a giant one-stop shop and a model for the whole world. This is how we reduce air pollution and contribute concretely to the fight against global warming.

The airport becomes a fantastic showcase for the country and the rest of us here continue our daily routine of going to work, school, or just walking in the orbital woods.

With a modest investment and an unsolicited offer, Albania can add the "one stop shop" airport to the list of attractions in addition to the magical beaches of the south and the alps of the north.

Thus, the lives of hundreds of thousands of people do not turn into a background for official visits and all earned income. Like us, like the honored guests, we get what we think we have with oka..- time.

The solution is in our hands - either to continue life with the daily traffic or to turn our beloved Tirana into a giant parking lot.
