Where we agree with Carlo Bollino

Italian publisher Carlo Bollino, who has been reported to SPAK by the opposition for profiting from public property, is a man who has also benefited from several concessions from the government such as Bunkarts, but these are of little importance. The debates about whether he is a publisher, a journalist, a businessman, etc. are irrelevant.

It is clear that Carlo Bolino, an associate of the Socialist Party, of the Renaissance, its militant, a close associate of Erion Veliaj, was photographed leaving the latter's office. In the days and weeks that passed, we saw him in the media in support of the mayor of Tirana, who has two serious charges, for corruption and laundering the proceeds of a criminal offense.

But beyond these points of view that we agree or disagree with Carlo, there are moments that Carlo shines and this is the case when we agree with Carlo Bollino about the professionalism of judge Engert Pëllumbi . Carlo yesterday wrote several articles in his media where he says: "Engert Pëllumbi is one of the most honest judges in the Albanian judiciary", criticizing the judge. In fact, beyond the criticism, this is true.

Today, after the decision he gave, Engert Pëllumbi really showed integrity , really showed professionalism, he did not fall prey to attacks and blackmail. He respected his true colleagues, prosecutors and judges, who were attacked, accused and anathematized even in the media by Carlo Bollino, who many say appears in the latest wiretaps with Erion Veliaj from the cell, but we will see the documents in the coming days , which as soon as they fall into our hands we will publish all of them, with or without Carlo.

But here we are faced with the fact that there are also cases when we agree that Judge Engert Pëllumbi is of integrity and we thank Mr. Bollino when he tells the truth and we thank Mr. Bollino for agreeing with us that Erion Veliaj should remain in prison by a judge with a clear decision and integrity./ CNA
