Document/ 4 countries that Albania requested visa waiver in 1937

The abolition of visas for Albanians has been a long-standing topic of the Albanian state. Divisions have been made since 1937.

According to a document made public by the General Directorate of Archives, in 1937 Germany, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Hungary requested the "disappearance of consular visa formalities".

The following document is a letter addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, from the National Tourism Authority, which seeks to facilitate and encourage the arrival of tourists to visit Albania.

In its letter, the National Tourism Authority adds that reaching an agreement with these countries to remove visas would be very beneficial for the country as well as for tourism in the country. /CNA.al
