Screenwriter and satirist Filip Çakuli celebrates his birthday today

Screenwriter, comedian, satirist and author of shows, Filip Çakuli celebrates his 70th birthday today.

Filip Çakuli was born on October 18, 1955 in the city of Saranda.

Çakuli graduated from pedagogical high school in the city of Gjirokastra. He continued his higher studies in Language and Literature at the University of Tirana.

Çakuli has been part of the newspapers "Bashkimi" and "Rilindja Demokratike" as well as the magazine "Hosteni".

With a long and quite rich career, Filip Çakuli has been the director of the investigative show "Fix Fare" for years.

He is also noted for his satires.

Filip Çakuli has also received a number of titles. In 2006, he was decorated with the title "Grand Master of Work".

He has also been declared an honorary citizen in several cities in the country such as Tropoja, Lushnje or Saranda./ CNA
