"Independent Gardens of Happiness"/ Premiere of the tragicomedy at the

"Independent Gardens of Happiness", a tragicomedy by author Albri Brahusha, who passed away a year ago, was staged by director Hervin Çuli. The premiere was held on the stage of the "Migjeni" Theater in Shkodra.

The audience was placed on the same platform as the actors, which made the performance more intimate, creating a special emotional experience. For the actors, this work conveys strong and current messages for Albanian society as a whole.

"Strong emotions, especially for the spiritual connection with Albri, even though I was not lucky enough to know him personally. They were beautiful emotions and I think we succeeded. When the actor is one with the spectator, everything becomes easier and it is a great pleasure. It is a powerful work with strong messages. I hope that messages of love are conveyed and there is less hatred. Albanian society needs more inspiration," said actor Besmir Bitraku.

"In fact, I wanted to start with a different feeling. I felt very good, like at home. I am a fan of Albanian works and I always support them. We are losing humanity, day by day, turning into robots. This turns us into non-human beings. Albri has made an interesting discovery in this work, where in a bank, not money is invested, but dreams and the soul," said actor Xuliano Brisku.

This premiere also marks the beginning of the new direction at the "Migjeni" Theater, under the direction of Gerti Palali. He called for writers to get closer to the theater.

"I am happy that we brought a Shkodra work to this magnificent building. Albri Brahusha is no longer with us, but it was also exciting for his family. Dramaturgy is closer to the public, and it is important for writers to create more and get closer to the theater," said Palali.

The play brings to attention the phenomenon of the materialization of life, emphasizing a "bank" where not money is deposited, but dreams and spiritual feelings. This creates a strong contrast between what we live and what we have lost as a society.

The work will continue to be performed for the Shkodra public on October 11 and 12, at 7:00 PM, in the hall of the "Migjeni" Theater. /CNA
