France honors Ismail Kadare

The colossus of Albanian letters, Ismail Kadare, will be honored in France.

The news was announced by the Albanian Embassy in France, which said that the Paris Municipal Council approved the placement of the plaque with the name of the Albanian writer on the Saint-Michel Boulevard.

Place where Kadare and his family lived for many years.

"The Paris City Council paid a lively and moving homage to the colossus of Albanian letters Ismail Kadare and, through him, to Albania??????? and Albanian culture, as it voted tonight, unanimously, to place a plaque with the name and in honor of Ismail Kadare, at the address 63 boulevard Saint-Michel in Paris, the place where he and his family lived for many years and where the author wrote some of the most beautiful pages of his literature. Thank you Paris, thank you France," the embassy writes.
