"Jusuf Vrioni" translation awards announced/ 5 winners for works from

During the gala evening of the Diaspora Summit this Tuesday, the "Jusuf Vrioni" awards were also awarded for the competition announced by the Diaspora Publishing Center for young translators from the diaspora.

The names of the winners were announced by the Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, for 5 translators from Albanian to foreign languages.

What is special about this edition is that the winners come from different countries and represent backgrounds from Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia.

The winners of the Jusuf Vrioni competition award are as follows:

Gentian Çitaku (winner for Albanian-French translation)

Fisnik Zyberi (winner for Albanian-German translation)

Fecerica De Bastiani (winner for Albanian-Italian translation)

Orgesa Kodhelaj (winner for Albanian-Greek translation)

Uarda Erebara (winner for Albanian-English translation)

The jury's motivation for all the winners was the same, since we are dealing with young people who are just starting out in the translation profession: "This award is given for the seriousness and preparation demonstrated in the competition, as well as as an incentive to continue and perfect the art of translation ." /CNA
