Cinematography Forum/ Filmmakers from Albania and Kosovo inspire young people

On the eve of the holidays of November 28-29, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports organized the "Next Generation" festival in Tropoja, which was attended by renowned representatives of cinematography and art from Albania and Kosovo.

Veton Nurkollari, founder of the short documentary film "Doku Fest", encouraged young people to become part of regional initiatives, emphasizing that cinematography schools are not enough to unleash their talents.

Directed by Gentian Koci, the film "A Cup of Coffee and New Shoes" was shown at the Tropoja cinema, a production performed in Albanian sign language by two Portuguese actors.

In the panel dedicated to graphic arts, Vatra Abrashi, founder of the Autostrada Biennial in Prizren, introduced the youth to the courage of three 20-year-olds, including Vatra herself, to represent Kosovo in international contemporary art competitions.

A novelty in the national cultural week was the clothing fair organized by Autostrada Bienale and Pop up Shop.

The national culture week "NextGeneration" was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports with the support of the British Council and aims to become an annual festival for the youth of Albania and Kosovo./ CNA
