He forcibly took a citizen's wallet and cell phone on the street at night. Police identify and arrest the 28-year-old.

A 28-year-old man stole another citizen's cellphone a few days ago. The arrested man had previously been convicted of theft.   

The services of the Plazh Police Station, immediately after receiving the notification that in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, a citizen had his profofol and cell phone forcibly taken, organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.     

As a result of rapid investigative actions, citizen RZ, 28 years old, resident of Durrës, previously convicted of theft, was identified, apprehended and arrested for the criminal offense of "Theft by force".  

This citizen is suspected of having forcibly taken the passport and mobile phone of a 38-year-old man during the night, on "Pavarësia" street, in neighborhood no. 13.    

The verifications revealed that citizen RZ, on 05.06.2025, stole the mobile phone of another citizen.  

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Durrës. /CNA
