Plot with 1800 cannabis seedlings/ 2 young people arrested in Bulqiza

The police operation codenamed "Coordination" continues, to prevent, identify and crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants.

As a result of intensified checks by the services of the Bulqiza Police Commissariat and the Criminal Investigation Structures at the Dibër DVP, a plot with around 1,800 seedlings and suspected narcotic plants of the cannabis sativa type was identified in the mountain of the Okshtun village.

During the intervention by the Police services, citizen AK, 19 years old, resident of Fushë-Krujë, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

Following the operation, citizen AZ, 21 years old, resident of Fushë-Krujë (collaborator with the arrested person) was identified and declared wanted.

The narcotic seedlings and plants were destroyed on site by burning, with some being seized as material evidence.

Work continues to capture the wanted person and fully document the criminal activity. /CNA
