Trafficking large amounts of drugs/ 3 Albanians arrested in Mykonos

A criminal organization, whose members were active in trafficking large quantities of drugs in Mykonos, was dismantled following a coordinated police operation that took place on Saturday afternoon.

As the Greek police stated in a statement, three Albanian national members were identified and arrested in the operation, one of whom tried to escape, putting up strong resistance, but was stopped.

Police have arrested 30-year-old SL, 33-year-old RA and 36-year-old ED. 

A criminal case was opened against them, as well as against another wanted person, for criminal organization, weapons, drugs, violence against employees, and violation of legislation on foreigners and the Road Traffic Code.

It is estimated that members of this organization, at least since May 2025, were trafficking quantities of cocaine, pink cocaine, cannabis, and drug tablets in areas of Mykonos.

From the investigations carried out, with the help of a police dog, the following were found and seized:

932.22 grams of cocaine

7 grams of pink cocaine

899 grams of cannabis

1.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine

93 drug tablets

5,060 euros

a revolver

10 cartridges

a knife

a vehicle

a motorcycle

3 precision electronic scales and

4 mobile phones

The organization's expected illegal financial gain from the sale of the seized drugs exceeds the amount of 100,000 euros./CNA
