An undeclared amount of money was found at Rinas customs by an Israeli citizen.

During the second-line check, the 45-year-old was found to have 194,000 euros, which he intended to take out of the Albanian border undeclared.

In this case, the prosecution initiated criminal proceedings against the 45-year-old man.

A 45-year-old Israeli man is being prosecuted for attempting to leave the Republic of Albania with 194,000 undeclared euros.

The amount of money is seized.

As a result of detailed checks at the entry/exit of the country, with the objective of preventing and detecting illegalities at the border, the Rinas Border Police services, in cooperation with customs services, have uncovered another case of non-declaration at the border crossing point of considerable amounts of money.

In this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen VY, 45 years old, with Israeli citizenship, who during the second-line check was found to have 194,000 euros, which he intended to leave the Republic of Albania without declaring in accordance with the law.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
