Justice defector Erion Alibej testified today at the Criminal Court of Kosovo about the involvement of blue uniforms and top leaders in Elbasan with criminal gangs operating in the city.

During his testimony, Alibej told how he contacted a police officer to gain access to the TIMS system, to obtain detailed information about the characters he needed.

Alibej: I got information from Ardian Çollaku, who is deceased today, but I also contacted a police officer, I gave him a Sky Ecc, I had access to TIMS through him, I was looking for information on names, he sent me the data with photos. I'm not saying the name because it's under investigation.

At this moment, the prosecutor of the case intervened, stating that the police officer who 'recruited' Alibej is subject to trial.

Prosecutor: There's no need, it's not the subject of this trial.

Alibej: I learned from this person that during the investigation, a motorcycle had come out following the Range Rover. I learned that Altin Qato was on the way to solving the incident, but I don't know. They didn't let him go and he was removed from there. Arjan Muça came later, the director./ CNA
