They stole a vehicle and sold it/ 3 young men were arrested in Tepelena

They stole 1 vehicle in Tepelena and sold it in Gjirokastra, 3 citizens are identified, arrested and put in handcuffs. The vehicle is found and seized.           

A small amount of the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, 2 drug grinders and 2 cold weapons (knives), which were found in the vehicle of one of the arrested, were also seized.    

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Tepelena Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Operational Section of the Gjirokastra Police Department, as a result of investigative actions carried out under the direction of the Gjirokastra Prosecutor's Office, within the framework of the "Nearby" operation, to solve the theft of a vehicle in the city of Tepelena, have identified, arrested and detained the following citizens:      

KP, 24 years old, FH, 18 years old and a 17-year-old, all three residents of Tepelena.    

The investigations suspect that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, on 26.05.2025, stole the vehicle of citizen FC, a resident of Tepelena, in Tepelena, and sold it in Gjirokastër.      

During the search of the vehicle owned by citizen FH, the Police services found a small amount of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, 2 drug grinders and 2 knives.    

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra, for further action. /CNA
