In the early hours of this morning, an attempt was made to rob a jewelry store in the city of Pogradec.

The owner of this jewelry store, Lytfi Alia, says that this is the second time his jewelry store has been attacked and the perpetrators have not yet been found.

He emphasizes that other times the people who entered were able to take items from the jewelry store, while today, after the alarm went off, they left without taking anything.

According to security cameras, he shows that there are 3 masked people who opened the store with a car jack. Other times that his store has been robbed, Lytfiu says that there was major damage of over 15 thousand euros, while he hopes that this time the police will make it possible to identify the perpetrators since this is a repeated case.

"At 3:30 the store was opened with a jackhammer, the alarm system went off and they left. They took absolutely nothing. My store has been robbed over three times since I opened it as a business. Even the first two times the perpetrators were not caught. Let's look at this time. The damage was huge, over 15 thousand euros (in other thefts). We are afraid for the business, we can't sell, we can't stay. It's not the same hand, because my store was robbed 15 years ago that time. The alarm went off so they couldn't steal anything and they left. When I arrived, the police wouldn't let me go inside. The police finished their actions, I saw the situation and nothing had been taken. The security cameras filmed the perpetrators but they were wearing masks.
