Providing conditions for murder and smuggling of goods/Two wanted suspects

Two people wanted for various criminal offenses have been arrested.

One of the arrested, a 34-year-old man, KL, was sentenced by the Durrës Court in 2023 to the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder" and "Violation of rules on explosives and flammable substances".

He is accused of having provided a quantity of explosives that was found in an apartment in neighborhood no. 10, Durres, in 2022, which the investigation revealed would be used for criminal events.

The other arrested person, a Montenegrin citizen, was wanted after the Durrës Court, in 2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Smuggling of goods with an intermediate regime".

-A Montenegrin citizen is arrested and detained, accused of smuggling goods.

The structures of the Durrës Border Police Department, in continuation of the work to capture and detain wanted citizens, have exchanged information and cooperated with the Border Police structures in Kukës and Shkodra, to capture 2 wanted citizens.

As a result of cooperation with the Morinë Border Police services, it was possible to capture at the entrance to the Republic of Albania, at the Morinë BCP, and detain citizen KL, 34 years old, resident of Dibër.

This citizen was declared wanted, after the Durrës Court, in 2023, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder" and "Violation of rules on explosives and flammable substances". He is accused of having provided a quantity of explosives that was found in an apartment in neighborhood no. 10, Durres, in 2022, which the investigations showed would be used for criminal events.

-As a result of cooperation with the services of the Bashkim PKK, Shkodra, it was possible to capture at the entrance to the Republic of Albania, at the Bashkim PKK, and detain the Montenegrin citizen BR, 44 years old, resident of Montenegro.

This citizen was declared wanted, after the Durrës Court, in 2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Smuggling of goods with an intermediate regime".
