Exploited a citizen for prostitution/ 42-year-old arrested in Durrës

A 42-year-old man has been arrested by the Durrës Police after being accused of exploiting prostitution.

The complaint was made by a 30-year-old woman, who is suspected of being exploited for three years in Albania and Italy by FI.

The 42-year-old is accused of the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in Adult Persons" and "Exploitation of Prostitution."

Police Announcement:

A 42-year-old man has been arrested, suspected of exploiting a 30-year-old woman for prostitution, both domestically and abroad, for 3 years.

As a result of the immediate administration of the report of a 30-year-old citizen, who was exploited for prostitution, in Albania and Italy, for about 3 years, by citizen FI, 42 years old, resident of Kavaja, specialists for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking enabled the capture and arrest of the 42-year-old.

Also, the Police services cooperated with social services, with the aim of accommodating the 30-year-old in a suitable center for her.

In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, investigations continue for the full legal documentation of this case.

The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in Adult Persons" and "Exploitation of Prostitution. "/ CNA
