The specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes in DVP Durrës, following investigative actions, as well as as a result of professional police work, within the "Diesel" operation, have made it possible to locate and arrest the citizens:

- FA, 65 years old, resident of Durrës, captain of the trawler and N. Xh., 53 years old, resident of Durrës, mechanic of the trawler.

From the investigative actions carried out, in cooperation with the Durrës Prosecutor's Office, the Border Police, the Durrës Customs Branch, the Maritime Anti-Smuggling and FSPD Port Durrës, it turned out that these 2 citizens, together with the wanted citizen AM (fisherman administrator), had gone out to sea , without notifying the captaincy and the Border Police, with the aim of obtaining an amount of about 80,000 liters of oil and smuggling it in.

Following the actions, the Police services found a deposit adapted in the trawler of these citizens, for keeping the smuggled oil. Peshkarexha, along with the amount of oil, were seized as material evidence.

The work continues for the capture of the AM citizen, as well as for the complete documentation of this criminal activity.
