The police officer Arjan Tase, who took the life of a minor girl today at Potami Beach while walking in a speedboat, has returned to the State Police at the beginning of this year after he was found not guilty by the Court of Appeal of Vlora on the charge of "abuse of duty".

Tase was "hit" on December 14, 2020 as part of the "Space" operation together with five of his colleagues after they were accused by AMP of having cooperated with criminal groups with the aim of cultivating narcotics in the territory of the area covered by the Police Station of Himara.

Along with Tasen, the chief of crimes in this police station, Artur Veshaj, was also suspended.

The court dismissed the case against Tase for lack of evidence, since according to them it was not proven that the former head of the Himara Police Station had supported criminal groups in the area, writes ABC News.

In the conditions where Tase's file was prepared by a "branded" prosecutor, the judges of the Appeal in Vlora had no choice but to "wash" Tase from the charges.

He was acquitted earlier this year and was immediately appointed to another position by Gladis Nano.

Tase held the position of Chief of Community Policing in the Police Directorate of Elbasan until the same person, precisely Gladis Nano, who had signed his return to the police a few months ago, publicly fired him a few minutes after the murder of the 7-year-old./ CNA.al
