Special Force "Eqiponja", in cooperation with Police Station No. 4, has successfully finalized the coded operation "Driver", for the attack on criminal activity in the field of illegal weapons possession.

33-year-old Vilson Hamza (Rama) from the capital, who was driving a Kalashnikov in his vehicle, ended up behind bars.

Police notification:

1 Kalashnikov firearm, comb and combat ammunition are seized. The driver of the vehicle where the weapon and ammunition were found was handcuffed, the 2 passengers were released.

Shërbimet e Forcës së Posaçme “Shqiponja”, në bashkëpunim me Komisariatin e Policisë Nr. 4, në vijim të punës për parandalimin dhe goditjen e veprimtarisë kriminale në fushën e armëmbajtjes pa leje, bazuar dhe në informacionet e siguruara në rrugë operative se në rrugën “Myslym Keta”, në një automjet, qarkullonin persona të armatosur, kanë organizuar punën dhe kanë finalizuar me sukses operacionin policor të koduar “Driver”.

Si rezultat i këtij operacioni, u arrestua në flagrancë shtetasi V. H. (R)., 33 vjeç, banues në Tiranë.

Gjithashtu, u proceduan penalisht në gjendje të lirë, shtetasit I. R., 41 vjeç dhe B. Z., 33 vjeç.

Në rrugën “Myslym Keta”, shërbimet e Policisë kanë ndaluar automjetin me drejtues shtetasin V. H. (R). dhe pasagjerë shtetasit I. R. dhe B. Z.

During the inspection of the vehicle, in the trunk, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, a Kalashnikov firearm, a comb and combat ammunition.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
