A 37-year-old Albanian risks 34 months in prison, after Belgian authorities found four bags filled with 40 packages of cocaine, the total amount of which was 46 kilograms.

The Belgian media  announce that it is about the Albanian citizen Luis G., who has not been completely hermetic, but has disclosed details of the operation, telling the authorities that a 10,000 euro reward was promised.

However, he did not say anything either about the person who, at the time of his arrest, could not be caught by the police after he escaped, nor about the person to whom drugs were to be sold, while the prosecutor asked for 34 months prison and a 20 thousand euro fine.

The 37-year-old's lawyer said that his client had been open with justice.

"My client has made a full confession. His birthday was a few days after his arrest and he wanted to throw a crazy birthday party. In reality, he hasn't received a cent yet. G. himself admitted on Tuesday that he had made a 'big mistake,'" said lawyer Jonathan Bogaerts. /CNA.al
