Following the anti-drug operation coded "Restart", launched nine months ago, the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic and Narcotics in the Korçë Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Korçë Local Border and Migration Directorate, the Border Police Station Kapshticë, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, successfully completed its eleventh phase. As a result, citizens were detained:

- M.R., 58 years old, resident in Tirana and AM, 45 years old, resident in Fushë-Kruje, for the criminal offense "Trafficking of narcotics", committed in collaboration.

Shërbimet e Policisë kishin grumbulluar informacion se nëpërmjet Greqisë, me një mjet të tonazhit të rëndë, do të trafikohej një sasi e konsiderueshme lënde narkotike. Pas këtij informacioni, është organizuar puna në bashkëpunim me punonjësit e Stacionit të Policisë Kufitare Kapshticë dhe në dalje të Republikës së Shqipërisë, u bë i mundur ndalimi i mjetit tip kamion i markës “Scania”, me drejtues shtetasin M. R.

Nga kontrolli i ushtruar në rimorkion e automjetit, u gjetën e sekuestruan në cilësinë e provës materiale 101 kg lëndë e dyshuar narkotike kanabis.

From the investigative actions carried out, it results that the citizen AM (employee of a private food company, based in the city of Tirana) in collaboration with other persons, had loaded the narcotic substance into the vehicle, while the citizen MR (company driver) would carry out the transport of the quantity, in the direction of Turkey.

In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, the work is continuing for the complete documentation of the event and the prosecution of other persons implicated in this criminal activity./ CNA.al
