Durrës Police have provided further details about the injury of the 36-year-old man yesterday evening. In the announcement, the police announced that the suspected perpetrator of the incident has been identified and is wanted.

The suspected perpetrator is 30-year-old KK, a resident of Kavaja. While overtaking, the 30-year-old fired a gun at the vehicle in which the 36-year-old was traveling.

Police report that a few days ago the injured man had physically assaulted the father of the suspected perpetrator.

The incident that occurred yesterday evening, where a 36-year-old man was injured by gunfire, is being clarified.

The suspected perpetrator of the incident is identified and declared wanted.

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person at the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the Prosecution, have continued investigative actions aimed at clarifying the circumstances of the incident that occurred on the evening of 30.05.2025, on the road axis "Four Streets of Fllakas-Katund Sukth", as well as to identify and capture the suspected perpetrator.

As a result, it was possible to solve the incident, identify and declare the suspected perpetrator, citizen KK, 30 years old, resident of Kavaja, wanted, and work to capture him continues.

Preliminary investigations show that at around 19:30, on 30.05.2025, in the place called “Fllakë e Egër”, citizen KK, driving a “Ford Focus” vehicle, fired a suspected pistol gun, during an overtaking, towards a “Lancia” vehicle, in which citizen AG, 36 years old, resident of Durrës, was travelling. As a result, citizen AG was injured, while the two minors aged 14 and 15 who were travelling with him were not injured.

The investigation revealed that a few days ago, citizen AG exercised physical violence against the father of citizen KK, who suffered non-life-threatening physical injuries.

Investigative work continues in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office for the full legal documentation of the event.

Meanwhile, Police services are continuing their work to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator.
