Urban and Interurban Traffic Specialists of DVP Elbasan, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Elbasan Judicial District Court, as a result of intensive investigative and professional work, made it possible to clarify the road accident, resulting in death, that occurred on 23.01.2023 .

As a result, the police services identified, located and detained the driver of the vehicle, citizen AD, 65 years old, resident of Fier, for the criminal offenses "Violation of traffic rules" and "Leaving the scene of the accident". 

From the investigative actions, it was found that this citizen, on the evening of 23.01.2023, on the city ring road, driving a "Benz" type vehicle, had an accident resulting in the death of FS citizen, 20 years old, resident of Elbasan, who was walking . After the accident, the driver of the vehicle immediately left the scene.

Following the actions, the "Benz" type vehicle was seized as material evidence. /CNA.al
