An accident occurred in Mat where four pedestrians were hit by a vehicle and ended up in the hospital.

The blue uniforms have announced that the driver of the vehicle, Y.Xh, 28 years old, has been arrested, who, after causing an accident to 4 pedestrians, left the scene.

"He had an accident with 4 pedestrians and immediately left the scene of the accident, the 28-year-old was located, caught and arrested.

He was accompanied to the police station by another citizen, who, with his vehicle, helped remove the 28-year-old from the accident site.

Following the preliminary information, where in the place called 'former gathering', in Burrel, citizen Y.Xh., driving a "Benz" type vehicle, caused an accident to 4 citizens (pedestrians), and immediately left the scene of the accident, as as a result of investigative and intensive actions carried out by the services of the Traffic Police in cooperation with the services of the Mat Police Station and the services of the Rrëshen Police, it became possible to locate the location, capture and arrest the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident, citizen Y. Xh., 28 years old, resident of Mat.

Also, citizen AB was escorted to the Police Station, who with his vehicle, helped remove citizen Y.Xh from the accident site.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Dibër General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the police announced./ CNA
